I think Spring has finally sprung, here in Ontario. Only problem now is this rain, that seems to think we like it to visit us everyday, LOL. The warmer weather has me itching to cook on the grill more often, so I don't heat up the house as much. I love summer and BBQs, but I find that I often get bored with what I usually prepare. I mean there is only so many ways you can grill chicken, steak, pork and burgers; RIGHT?? So, I've been scouring the internet and of course one of my favourite sites- Life Made Delicious. They have quite a few grilling ideas, that are quick and easy. Two things I love about recipes! While perusing LMD, I noticed this recipe for sliders. I thought the kids might get a kick out of them, so I decided to give them a whirl.
I love ground pork, but never really cook with it. Other than our Holiday Tourtiere, ground pork never really makes an appearance at our dinner table. I was happy to find this recipe, to give us a twist on our regular burgers. These cute little sliders are served on Pillsbury Biscuits, which are the perfect size. The pork is juicy and spicy; and I love that you can control the heat level, to your preference. I made up 4 sliders with less Cajun seasoning, for the kids, and added more seasoning to the rest of the meat, for us adults. Maybe it's because I'm French Canadian, but I loved the ketchup with these sliders (Hubby often teases me by saying that ketchup is French gravy). These would be super cute for a back yard party, or even as appetizers to a summer cocktail party. Definitely going into my grilling folder!!

OOH those look good. I wonder how it would be if you mixed the pork with beef to make the sliders?
I think the combination would work well. My parents use a combo of ground pork and beef in their meat pies, for Christmas.
